Oxygen Advantage Breathwork

Time to get the Oxygen Advantage!

Would you consider yourself to be essentially fit and healthy?  Do you exercise regularly?  However, do you feel you are not getting the most from your sessions, and have a sense that your breathing is not functioning at an optimum level? If that is the case, a short course in the Oxygen Advantage would benefit you.

OA exercises help oxygen in the blood transfer effectively to working muscles and vital organs.  They help you warm up and cool down correctively, stave off injury, keep fit if injured, and generally exercise more effectively.

An Oxygen Advantage programme ensures you are breathing at a good functional level.  It then ‘pushes the edges’, establishing a new, more resilient balance that enables you better to tolerate CO2 build-up and lower Oxygen levels, in a manner similar to high-altitude training.

I am a qualified Oxygen Advantage instructor, a Level 3 Personal Trainer, and a Kettlebell instructor.  OA sessions are usually taught on a 1-1 basis and are tailored to your present fitness levels.  They may include some running, resistance training, both or neither.

I struggled with asthma for decades, but after doing Bernard’s Buteyko Course, there was a tremendous improvement. I felt (and still feel) in control of my breathing, and thus of the asthma. I never have to take the blue ‘reliever’ inhaler now, and if something feels as if it may trigger a coughing fit, I immediately use the breathing exercises to prevent it. They are easy and straightforward, and Bernard is a kind, encouraging and clear teacher, which made it a pleasure to work with him. I am really grateful for the life-changes the course has produced.
